Stem Cell Therapy

Our stem cells are donated by mothers from the umbilical cord, placental tissues of a live healthy birth. These cells contains an abundance of growth factors, proteins, and regenerative cells (including stem cells). The cord blood is processed in such a way that all blood components associated with rejection are removed. When these growth factors, proteins, regenerative cells, and stem cells are injected into a damaged joint, they go to work immediately.

IL-1ra (Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist) immediately begins reducing the damaging inflammatory components (Tumor necrosis factor-alpha, Interferon-gamma, etc.). At the same time, the protein Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) stimulates blood supply for the damaged tissue, Fibroblast Growth Factor-2 (FGF-2) stimulates the damaged cells to grow and reproduce themselves, Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-beta) stimulates cartilage to grow, and Stem Cell Factor (SCF) stimulates your native inactive stem cells to become activated and assist in the repair of the damaged tissue. This represents a small example of the thousands of growth factors, proteins, and regenerative cells involved in the reparative process that takes place when these cells are injected into a damaged joint.

This type of regenerative medicine utilizes a natural approach to optimize the environment within a damaged joint, and then stimulates your own tissue to repair itself.

  • Neuropathy

Neuropathy is a condition in which the peripheral nerves (the nerves in your body, aside from your spinal cord and brain) are damaged and/or not working correctly. Neuropathic pain is characterized by pain, tingling and numbness in the feet and lower legs, balance problems and a variety of uncomfortable feelings. It can be quite debilitating, and affects more than 10% of the population. Diabetes is the leading cause of peripheral neuropathy.

  • Neuropathy Treatments

RMI has developed a safe and effective treatment for patients who suffer from any form of acute and chronic pain, including peripheral neuropathy. Our unique treatment protocol- Cellular Signaling Therapy™ (CST) uses advanced medical electric technology, (cellular signaling therapy) in conjunction with stem cells. This method offers shortened treatment times and faster results.

  • Diagnosing Peripheral Neuropathy

Epidermal Nerve Fiber Density (ENFD) biopsies which have been found to have 88.4% sensitivity in detection of peripheral neuropathy compared to 54.6% for a clinical exam alone. ENFD is widely considered to be the “Gold Standard” in the detection of peripheral neuropathy.

  • Regenerative Medicine – How it works?

Regenerative medicine physicians are changing the paradigm of medicine. The newest advancements in Stem Cell therapy uses healthy donated umbilical cord & placental tissue stem cells to treat a joint conditions, auto-immune diseases, and anti-aging procedures.
